Also sometimes refered to as Crocodile Jasper, this stone is often mis-classified as a Stromatolite fossil while it is actually neither Jasper or a fossil. Its a composition of volcanic Rhyolite stone with the green/blue color coming from inclusions of Quartz, Aegirine, Albite & Feldspar and the black color containing amphibole needles. A truly beautiful stone with great swiriling detail, making each piece unqiuley its own. Acrylic sphere stand included.
